An amendment to the Colorado Constitution establishing Colorado as an independent nation, and, in connection therewith, declaring that the Colorado Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado Constitution establishing Colorado as an independent nation, and, in connection therewith, declaring that the Colorado Constitution is the supreme law of the land?

Single subject approved; titles set (3-0).
The Board determined that the proposed initiative requires the addition of language to the Colorado Constitution. The requirement for approval by fifty-five percent of the votes cast applies to this initiative.
